Toei Animation, the famous Japanese production company, has started the production of a CG feature film dedicated to the historical anime and manga of Leiji Matsumoto, Captain Harlock.
The writer Harutoshi Fukui has reconstructed and rewritten history by adapting it to the themes of the contemporary world while Shinji Aramaki has dealt with the technical side by using the latest technologies in the direction of cinema for directing.
The appointment is in Japanese cinemas and is set for October 2013.
