What is the HDRI?

HDRI is a High Dynamic Range Image that contains a large amount of data (usually 32 bits per pixel per channel), in the 3d scene you can use the “Dynamic range” to control the brightness of the image. Also, the HDRI is a panoramic hdri photography, covering 360 angles from the point of view of the viewer.
