Introducing Microsoft Mesh

Hi 3D Artist, let’s check this new technology, Microsoft’s Alex Kipman, the inventor of Kinect and HoloLens, recently introduced a new experience, a mixed-reality platform powered by Azure.
Microsoft Mesh enables presence and shared experiences from anywhere, on any device, through mixed reality applications.
The network allows connections with new depth and dimension.

What is Microsoft Mesh’s mixed reality?

The project is described as a collaborative platform that allows people to share virtual experiences using different devices. “This was the dream of mixed reality, the idea from the very beginning,” Kipman said. “You can really feel like you are in the same place with someone sharing content or you can teleport from different mixed reality devices and be present with people even when you are not physically together.”

“You can really feel like you are in the same place”: Microsoft Mesh empowers shared experiences in mixed reality.

The new toolkit allows users to don a HoloLens 2 headset, enter a virtual meeting room and join teammates.
As digital intelligence reaches the real world, we are now able to see, share and collaborate on content that persists. This common understanding ignites ideas, stimulates creativity, and forms powerful bonds.
