Hi Guys, I’m soo excited to share on 3DArt, The Lonely Face an experimental short by Fedora, featuring Shun Yin produced by Emanuele Serra and Sebastiano Pupino.
The movie is filmed in Black Magic Camera, edited in Davinci Resolve, and motion design and fx elements in Fusion BMD. The aim of the look style of Lonely Face, it created a visual experience recreating a particular style, using some filters, flicker, distortion, wrap and 3d nodes in BMD Fusion.

The algorithm working by picking a pixel from the image and checking with the previous sorted pixel in different position of colour contrast of the video.
Another style that we liked recreated in the Lonely Face is the VHS style in Pal mode, recreating That ’90s VHS Look with some flickering noise, distortion and glitch.
