Pixologic has presented a sneak preview of some features that will be available in the upcoming ZBrush 2021.
In the new ZBrush 2021 sneak preview, we have a new set of tools for sculpting cloth that works with physics.
The video shows MicroPoly, which seems to be a way to imitate creating the physical structure of cloth by generating fabric pattern materials, using predefined geometries to create the structure direct in ZBrush.
We also see a system of tissue dynamics, with support for gravity and collisions between objects.
One of the new features of this new ZBrush 2021 version will be to manually sculpt the tissues, with a series of interactive brushes similar to the physics-enabled cloth brushes recently introduced in Blender 2.83.
ZBrush 2021 will include some game-changing features that we know you’re going to be excited about. It will also be a free of charge update for all registered ZBrush users.
Check the Pixologic Livestream event for a more complete overview and demonstration of the ZBrush 2021 features.
